The Camp Combe YMCA Board is a dynamic group of community-oriented individuals committed to the mission of the YMCA. They volunteer their time and expertise to advise the YMCA staff, make connections throughout the community, and raise funds for capital needs and camp scholarships.  There are several standing committees of the Camp board:

Facilities Chair, Libby Parks

The Facilities Committee plans the development of current and future camp facilities, designs buildings and program spaces, and provides vital guidance to the staff on maintenance issues.  The members of this committee tend to be design or building professionals that are eager to share their expertise and learn from each other.  This committee generally meets 10-12 times per year in the evenings and they have a presence at several of the work days in the spring.

Program Chair, Sharon Gunzberg

The Program Committee focuses on special events.  The biggest of these is the Fall Festival, but there are events in every quarter.  They advise the staff on pricing, marketing, activities, and logistics.  They also provide feedback on

Inclusion Chair, Beth Schilling

The Inclusion Committee directs its efforts to improving the ability of the YMCA to include campers of varying levels of ability.  They guide policy, seek funding sources, assist with the development of staff training, and help to place the Y in the network of service providers, parents, and other advocacy groups.

Financial Development Chair, Gina Campbell

The Financial Development committee runs the annual Strong Kids Campaign which raises funds for scholarships to deserving families that are struggling to afford camp for their children.  The active campaign takes place each fall, but meets year-round to plan, recruit campaigners, and cultivate donors.
