Camp Combe is the coolest place I have ever been.

Male camper, age 9

This was my son’s first truly successful mainstream experience —we couldn’t be happier!

Parent of 8 yr old camper with Autism

My favorite thing in a whole entire world is Camp Combe.

Female camper, age 6

As a kid, I loved Camp Combe. Now I want to make camp just as awesome for my campers!

– Camp Combe Junior Counselor

This was our first summer and everything has been exactly as we
were told it would be...even better!

– Parent of an eight year old camper

I'm not sure how you do it, but I don't think my boys have ever been this excited about anything!

– Parent of two campers, age 7 & 9

My daughter loves camp so much she is disappointed on the weekend. "Camp Combe today?" is her first waking question!

– Parent of a six year old camper

The energy! The care! The fun! Everything a kid could want.
I want to go to camp!

– Parent of an 11 yr old girl

It’s hard to outgrow camp when it gets more fun every year! Your teen programs are perfect!

– Parent of an 8th grade girl

My child comes home more mature and responsible after every trip. How can so much growth happen in just one summer?

– Parent of 9th grade boy

Service Corps, especially Habitat for Humanity, had a huge impact on my son!

– Parent of a 7th grade boy

This is a camp that celebrates kids being themselves. What could be better than that?

– Parent of a male camper, age 12

Thanks to you, 966 children participate in pre-school and Universal Pre-K, childcare and before/after school programs in Westchester and Putnam Counties.

Thanks to you, 1,160 campers create summer memories at our Y camps.

Thanks to you, countless seniors are staying fit and healthy at our facilities.

Thanks to you, $234,393 dollars was raised in 2017 to provide financial aid for children, families, and individuals for camps, childcare programs and membership, right in your community.

Now more than ever, the YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester needs your support.

Recently, Stephanie R, a single parent who brings her child to our childcare facility, told a group of Y supporters that without the Y and our financial assistance, she could not have completed her nursing degree and provided for her family. Every day, your support makes stories like Stephanie’s possible. You are making a difference in our community!

You may have read that the YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester plans to sell its building on Mamaroneck Ave. The YMCA is NOT going out of business…quite the opposite! The new, non-facility model for the White Plains Y allows us to maintain and reinvest in existing services, and expand and grow our programs to serve additional communities. Bringing YMCA services directly to our members versus having them coming to one building of the YMCA allows us to scale up the number of programs we can offer and the number of families we can help by engaging in a more flexible approach.

Your community needs your support now more than ever!

Would you be willing to make a year-end donation of $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help us exceed last year’s numbers and continue to support working families?  We can’t do it without you.  Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who are still in need.  Please support our 2018 Strong Kids Campaign and send your donation today.Make a difference today!
